1) Download putty. It's a small programm wich allowed you to connect to the Shell-fr Server (via SSH) ;

2) Open it and enter the following address in "Host Name ( or IP address)" : box2.shell-fr.net ;

3) Select "SSH" in "Protocol" (Port 22 is added automaticaly) ;

4) To finish, click on "Open"

5) A security alert appear, don't worry it's normal, just click on "Yes" ;

6) Enter your login & password, the password is hidden when you type it for security reason (Crypted connection) ;

7) Once you're connected, you got this screen :

7) Type "addeggdrop", installation is made automaticaly.

Now your bot is started. We have to tell him 'Hello', then he will recognize you as owner.

8) /msg Bot_Name hello ( allow the bot to recognize you as owner, based on your mask. It's better to set +x mode before doing this ) ;

9) /msg Bot_Name pass Your_Password ( Define a password to connect to the bot via Partyline ) ;

* PartyLine: It's a console (dccchat) on IRC. You can with it 'chat' with the bot and give him commands / actions / order.

10) /ctcp Bot_Name chat ( A new window appear and invite you to access to your Bot's partyline. ) iIf you haven't got any window and you are connected through a BNC, please type : /dccenable ;

11) Write your nickname + Password you choosed before in the partyline (The Bot ask for) to connect to the bot ;

12) .+host your_nick your_nick*!*@* ( This command allow you to be recognize to the bot each time you connect to the partyline, with this nickname ) ;

13) .+chan #your_channel ( To add a channel to the bot chanlist ) and .-chan #your_channel ( To remove a channel )

Now we are going to add a TCL script to the eggdrop  ATTENTION: Many scripts need to be edited before !

14) Upload your TCL script (xxxxx.tcl) in the 'script' repertory, in the eggdrop directory (something like : /eggdrop/script/). Get the FTP address of the Bot in your email address ;

15) In putty, type : " echo source scripts/nomduscript.tcl >> ~/eggdrop1.6.17/egg.conf " ;

16) Now type .rehash in the Partyline, the bot will reload all the scripts.

HERE ARE SOME SCRIPTS :

msg.tcl = Send a msg every X minutes in a channel (multi channels support) ;

protectop.tcl = Protect the operator of a channel ;

qnetauth.tcl = Allow the bot to send Q login and password (for Quakenet!) ;

vote.tcl = Organize vote in a channel.
