Tutorial : How to
setup your BNC
1)
Configure your mIRC with your BNC ident (login)
In mIRC, type:
/ident on your_ident then type /emailaddr your_ident
2)
Connect to
the BNC
In mIRC, type: /server
shell-fr.net GivenPort GivenPassword
3)
Add an IRC server on your BNC
In mIRC, type : /addserver
irc.serveur.com:port
4)
To use one of the 145 Trusted Vhosts
In mIRC, type: /bvhost
IP or Vhost then type /jump
5)
Change
your password
In mIRC, type : /password NewPassword
6)
How to setup your offline nickname
In mIRC, type: /setawaynick
offline_nickname

Shell-FR, Password: 1337pw, Server Port: 3046, IRC network desired: Quakenet) :
Type in mIRC:
/ident on Shell-FR
/emailaddr Shell-FR
/server shell-fr.net
